～踊り描く楽譜～」

トゥシューズで踊りながら絵を描く、ダンスペインティングを手がけるアーティスト Ree と作曲家の石川潤によるコラボレーション作品を発表します。

この作品では「舞踊譜」がテーマとなっています。

舞踊の動きを記号化して記録したもので、映像技術が発達していない時代に重宝された記録方法です。

これらは、現代の音楽において「図形譜」と呼ばれる、一般的な五線譜とは異なる自由な図形で記載された譜面を思い起こします。

今回は石川潤による図形譜での作曲、その音楽からインスピレーションを受けてReeによるダンスペインティングを行います。

図形譜から生まれる音楽と、パフォーマンスを通して、音楽に呼応して踊ることで生まれる舞踏譜をお楽しみください。

“Dance Notation”

This artwork is a collaboration between music and DancePainting, based on dance notation.

Dance notation is the recording of dance movements on paper using symbols in an era when video technology was not yet developed.

Music is indispensable for the performance which is done with the guidance of sheet music.

In the composition of contemporary music, there are cases in which graphic notation drawn using free figures and text, is used.

In DancePainting, there are many movements where one will rotate their arms and legs as well as their core.

It can draw geometric patterns.

In this work, I would like to use the technique of graphic notation to match the geometric patterns drawn by the body with the score, and complete the score drawn on the canvas, a painting that can be said to be a modern version of the dance notation.
